Exit polls
We survey people as they leave polling stations, events or rallies. A representative sample of locations, with interviewers at each one, makes it possible to estimate results and voter profiles on the same day.
01What it is
An exit poll interviews people immediately after they vote or attend an event. Because it captures actual behavior rather than stated intention, it is a valuable tool to anticipate results and to analyze who voted for each option and why.
The accuracy of an exit poll depends mostly on the design of the location sample: Afiches selects survey points to represent the electorate and assigns interviewers with a systematic respondent selection protocol.

05Questions

Can it be combined with pre-election polls?
