62%use a digital wallet as their main payment method; cash 22% and banks 16%.

80%of fintech users use two or more digital wallets at the same time.

78%use a debit card; 73% bank transfers and 58% QR payments.

15%have traded cryptocurrency at some point.

02Reading

Digital wallets have become the center of everyday transactions, while banks and cash play complementary roles. In the interviews, convenience emerges as the main criterion for choosing a payment method, linked to digital tools and security.

Digital wallet use is higher among younger people and rises with socioeconomic level; bank use, by contrast, is concentrated among people over 60. Cryptocurrency remains a niche phenomenon, viewed with more distrust than enthusiasm.
